Stephanie Falcone is singer, songwriter, and artist based on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She grew up outside of Washington, D.C. in Potomac, Maryland where she learned to play piano and sing at a young age. Stephanie discovered her songwriting ability upon moving to Nashville, Tennessee as a transfer student at Vanderbilt University in 2009, where she was a member of the women's Division I swim team. Between her busy academic and athletic schedules, she made time to explore the Nashville music scene, picking up guitar and attending writer's nights. She released a 5-song EP called “What Are You Waiting For” in the fall of 2014. A leap of faith, a one-way ticket, and the desire for island-life brought her to Maui in the fall of 2015. She has found new inspiration living by the ocean, which is evident in her original song, "A Pirate's Life." Her musical influences include John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Michelle Branch, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and the Dixie Chicks. She is also inspired by the majority of singer/songwriters from the 70's, including Carole King, Stevie Nicks, James Taylor and Billy Joel.
In early 2015, Stephanie started selling artwork as merchandise at her live shows. She makes a painting for each city that she plays in and now sells them on her Etsy site, where you can also find her fashion paintings.
When not working on music or art, Stephanie can most likely be found in the water - either swimming, surfing, or sailing. In 2011, she completed a 500-hour comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body and is a PMA®-Certified Pilates Teacher. She spends much of her time being active and enjoys helping others work to achieve a balanced lifestyle.
